there is no need for leaf blowers in Las Vegas. All it does is cause more dirt and debris to roam around our streets and apartment complexes. We have zero need for you to be blowing rocks at eight in the morning. Thank you.

Research shows that leaf blowers release an outrageous amount of air pollution. The California Air Resources Board has estimated that operating a gas-powered leaf blower for an hour releases as much smog-forming pollution as driving a Toyota Camry from Los Angeles to Denver. The amount of noise and pollution created by leaf blowers greatly outweighs their ‘benefit’.

I hear leaf blowers at 6:58am when me and my family is trying to sleep. Even the dog gets scared. It’s loud, unacceptable, and a violation of people’s right for peace and quiet

Ban all gasoline powered blowers immediately. The landscapers can go to electric blowers and vacuums, with very little expense.

I work from home and encounter ubiquitous noise (often 4 days a week) from leaf blowers in gated community that is certain to exceed noise level - it also produces exhaust and dust that enters any open windows.

I feel bad for everyone who works or does school from home. Someone leafblowing in the next neighborhood over from you will still create a disturbance to you just sitting in your home office. This is ridiculous. Learn to use rakes.
