My name is Candace and I have started this petition to help put a stop to domestic violence and to bring awareness to this ever growing problem. I lost a close friend and her oldest daughter almost a year ago today to domestic violence. October is domestic violence awareness month but yet it always gets put in the shadow of breast cancer. Both are equally important however domestic violence does not get the same recognition. So PLEASE help by signing your name to this petition. Together we CAN make a difference!!!!!
