Domestic violence continues to be the number one call that 911 operators receive in Arizona. One in 4 women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. These statistics illustrate the prevalence of domestic violence in our community, calling for everyone to take action and be part of the solution.

In Arizona, the AVON Program for Women & Justice at O'Connor House is working to raise awareness about domestic violence, and elevate its importance in public policy decisions.

We are asking political and community leaders, employers, and the community at large to take action and Speak Out Against Domestic Violence by signing this petition and taking the pledge:

Speaking up for those who are victims of abuse in my family, community, and at work, or school;

Encouraging and supporting policies that protect victims of domestic violence, and hold people who abuse responsible; And,
