Destiel is never going to be canon, and I hate how so many people seem to think it is. I want it to be known that not every Supernatural viewer wants destiel to happen, because we're not all the same.

Seriously, guys. This show has always been about Sam and Dean and their crusade to save people because it's the family business. Stop making everything about Destiel; it makes the fandom as a whole look psycho and rude and the viciousness of the Destiel shippers ruined this show for me long ago.

one of them destielers ran over my dog. my dog survived, but then we had to put her down cause we found out she shipped destiel too. :( THEY'RE RUINING MY LIFE AND THEY'RE RUINING THE WORLD. WARN YOUR FRIENDS AND CHILDREN. TELL THEM OF THE DANGERS OF DESTIEL. It IS contagious. Don't let ANYONE tell you otherwise!!! And it DOES cross species, so keep your pets indoors!!!

Destiel is not half as popular as it seems to be and isn't what the show is about. It's just a small group (statistically less than 1% of the fanbase) that want this.

I just believe that the story should be about the brothers. Cas is great! But not with Dean.

I disagree with the idea that every tv show in history needs a romantic story line and as much as I love Dean and Castiel individually, they do not go together as a couple. The show should be about two brothers, just how it started out as. I always thought this show was a breath of fresh air as their was no romantic plot line and I really hope that doesn't change.

First and foremost this show is about two brothers that travel across the country hunting monsters. It's not about romance. Romance never ends well for the Winchesters. At the end of the day all they really have is each other. I love Cas, but I just don't see the destiel and I think it would detract from what's really important about SPN.

Cas's storyline died in season 4. Time to kill him off before he really gets his character ruined. I don't want a repeat of "Angel" with the character Cordelia...

Ship whoever you want and have fun with it. But keep in mind that this show is not about romance. All fanon ships should remain fanon. Stop harassing the cast and crew, non-shippers and fans of other ships. It makes the fandom look bad.
