This petition is for those who believe that a stricter law needs to be created to discourage amateur trappers from snatching ducks and geese from Pinellas county parks and public greenspace. http://www.tampabay.com/news/humaninterest/article1024552.ece Austin Corley has been named as a suspect in the illegal removal of several geese from Crescent Lake park and other locations. Apparently there are local ordinances against this, but no laws that would allow law enforcement to pursue the case outside of city jurisdiction. If you agree that this practice should be discouraged via the enactment of a tougher law to dissuade the Austin Corleys of the world, please sign this petition, so it can be submitted to Mayor Rick Baker and the St Petersburg city council.
