The UTA has picked up the screen rights to a widely read fanfiction series on Wattpad called "After." The three-part series has over 500 million views, and is written by Anna Todd. Readers of this series and fans alike DO NOT support this series being adapted into a movie, due to the glamourization of abusive and unhealthy relationships.
I think its wrong, not only making this kind of relationship okay, but putting Harry in this. Sure his name is changed, but he "looks like harry" and it's based off him

this promotes the romanticism of abuse, both verbal and physical, in relationships. this is especialy troubling because of the crowd that reads these books. It teaches girls that dangerous possessive nature and destructive jealousy are okay in a relationship. It is highly insensitive to people who have been in these types of relationships and who finally got out for the s=whole subject to be lightened and idealised. Stop this book and movie.

This fanfic is far too dark to become a movie. Plus, it would show 1D in a bad light, especially Harry.
