We, the undersigned, residents of the Village of Long Grove, Illinois, do hereby voice our opposition to the proposed creation of a Tax Increment Financing district in the B1/B1-A district (Downtown Area).
PLEASE NOTE: You do NOT have to make a donation when prompted in order for your signature to be recorded. Any donations made through this site benefit i-petitions.com.
The village board is still trying to force this TIF district down our throats while ignoring the residents who pay the bills. I am spending my time digging through the public records they hope we never find and the level of deception is infuriating. They think we will just give up but they are sadly mistaken.

Keep our village small! We moved here for the charm not to have more tax hikes and big developers ruining the historic vibe.

Please reconsider. This district doesnt need a TIF. It needs to stay as it is.

This downtown plan is a disaster waiting to happen. The board needs to listen to the actual residents instead of just chasing money.
