My name is Laura Tolhurst and I am a student at Open Access College. For my Studies of Society task I was asked to do a social action, so i chose a petition.
Nestle chocolate is a product sold in Australia which uses raw material sourced from an industry that abuses human rights; cocoa production. The cocoa industry still uses slave labour. Nestle is a large worldwide chocolate manufacturing company that refuses to exchange a small portion of its massive profits to ensure sufficient return for farmers and workers.'
Please sign this petition and help stop Nestle from buying cocoa from overseas countries that uses young children and adults as slaves!
Seeing this momentum grow proves that people will not ignore the reality of how these chocolates are produced. It feels incredible to know so many of you care about the children trapped in this industry.
