We, the undersigned residents of Edgewater, in order to preserve and improve the quality of life in our neighborhood, urge that: Alderman Smith join in full solidarity with the following condo associations in opposition of the proposed 5440 N Sheridan project: Denifer Condominium Association (1038-1052 W. Balmoral), 1138 W. Catalpa Condo Association, the Renaissance Association (5510 N. Sheridan), 5453-55 Kenmore Condo association, Kenlake Condo Association (5445 N Kenmore, Edgewater Beach (5555 N. Sheridan), Edgewater Plaza (5455 N. Sheridan); Zoning & Planning representatives vote in accordance with our opposition to this project; All future development on Sheridan Road be subject to the 2005 Sheridan Road Downzoning. I HAVE BEEN SPENDING MY ENTIRE WEEK MEETING WITH NEIGHBORS TO DISCUSS THE DANGERS OF THIS MASSIVE HIGHRISE!! THE SUPPORT FROM THE CONDO ASSOCIATIONS HAS BEEN ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC AND WE ARE GEARING UP FOR A MASSIVE SHOW OF FORCE AT THE NEXT ZONING MEETING!!

THIS MOMENTUM IS ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC!! OUR NEIGHBORHOOD IS SHOWING UP IN MASSIVE WAYS TO PROTECT THE CHARACTER OF SHERIDAN ROAD AND I AM BEYOND INSPIRED BY YOUR ENERGY!! WE ARE PUTTING REAL PRESSURE ON THE ZONING BOARD NOW SO KEEP THAT FIRE BURNING!!!!

Sheridan is already a total nightmare during rush hour. Building another highrise there is just asking for gridlock. Enough is enough.

traffic is already bad enough and we dont need more density. keep the zoning laws like they are.
