Zillow must be stopped. Many times I have found false information that my clients have told me was on this site. IE: My listed property was for rent and send your money to a PO Box.

This petition states, "Zillow's recent move to becoming a listing entity and buying homes directly from consumers..."
But we aren't becoming a listing entity, nor are we buying homes directly from consumers.
Of course everyone is entitled to an opinion, and of course they are welcome to express those opinions to the President of the NAR (or anyone else). But you'd think the facts would be important, and the simple fact is we aren't listing, or buying, real estate.
Your petition also misses the important fact that during this test, we are actively involving real estate agents in the process.

Years ago I withdrew from IDX & only share my listings with Realtor.Com I do not want to be associated with Zillow in my opinion it's fake news.

We will be forced to work for a fraction of the pay standing in line for leads. All of our hard work building our business will be made obsolete. It has the makings of a monopoly.

Educate you clients to not use Zillow, point them to a reputable site that pulls listed directly from the local MLS.

Stop this insanity. As realtor we need jobs too without paying Zillow an arm and a leg for everything. We can not afford it! Please have them stop what they are doing it's not fair!

We need the protection and support of our organization, National Association of Realtors to stop Zillow from turning our industry into a self-serve business!

Zillow has changed the face of my business overnight, by eliminating small brokerage ability to syndicate listings to their site. They hold small brokers hostage, requiring brutally high-priced lead purchase requirements, while allowing large brokerages to continue syndication freely and without interruption. It's a crime that our NAR and CAR representatives gave them access to our MLS - which WE fund through OUR realtor dues - in the first place. This is just another step toward putting realtors out of business for good.
