The ZHS administration finally listened and the pep band is disbanded for good. 156 of us made it clear that we were tired of our ears ringing and now the games will actually be listenable. Keep your Spotify playlists ready because we proved that nobody needs that noise anymore.

This petition is to stop ZHS Pep Band. They take the spirit away from the game & a speaker can replace there job. Spotify is 10x better and doesnt hurt my ears. Hopefully with this petition we will save ZHS, and in the future, the whole nation.

The administration continues to ignore the noise pollution during games but we are not going anywhere. My inbox is full of people ready to trade that amateur band for a decent speaker system. We are forcing a change because nobody should have to endure that racket anymore.

my ears ring for like two hours after the games because they just blast everything so loud its actually painful
SERIOUSLY just play a playlist. nobody wants to hear squeaky trumpets during the third quarter.
we pay for tickets to watch football not to listen to a mediocre garage band fail at pop songs
Literally the ZHS pep band is so bad you can’t even tell which songs being played
This is societal innovation at its finest, out with old pointless traditions and in with the future

Hi friends. I just want to let you know that the community of Zillah is a great supporter of the zhs band. The athletes have often thanked the band for our support. If you would like to come join the band in a conversation on what we do, you are welcome to come visit us 3rd period. In the mean time I suggest finding a way to support your classmates.
