For the past few years at Lehigh Senior High School we have had the same DJ. After various complaints from the students nothing has changed. We appreciate our staff and administrators for chaperoning events like homecoming and prom, but we pay for a good night with our friends and with good music! Our school is full of amazing students who excel in so many programs. We are referred to as Lehigh Scholars because of how hard we work. Please sign this petition because maybe we can finally get the administration to pay attention to our desire!

I have been hearing from so many people about their frustrating memories from past school dances. It is clear that the music at our events is failing to reflect the energy of the student body. We are currently looking into the process for how these vendors are selected so we can present a better path forward to the administration.

Seeing this level of support confirms that I am not the only one frustrated by the atmosphere at our school dances. It means so much to know that my peers are just as ready for a change in music as I am.

I want to have a fun homecoming and prom. The last dances I've went to I didn't even want to dance because the music was so out of date. I don't want to feel like I wasted my money again.
Since Homecoming is a school event for the students to enjoy themselves (i'm a senior therefore my goal is to make as many memories as I can) and our money is being used for the selection of the DJ if we feel like the Dj isn't satisfying our musical needs, we should be able to change him or he should use the music playlist that we provide. The purpose of this petition is not to disrespect you family member but to instill music that suits our generation and style. Please consider this petition from your hard working Lehigh Senior Scholars.
LEHIGH EVENTS ARE ALWAYS LAME BC OF THE MUSIC I SUFFERED 4 YEARS PLEASE FIX IT JESUS
Agreed, LSHS doesn't put the students pleasure first when it comes to events meant for the student's pleasure. Seeing as how the students are the ones funding the events, they deserve to have their opinions heard and catered to!
The DJ doesn't really play music of different genres and I think that's a problem

He ALWAYS plays Gasolina and Stand by me. I would like to see a wider variety of music styles and for our DJ to be more open to requests from the students. Our is very diverse and so should the music that plays at home coming to avoid people from feeling excluded!
