On February 17th 2022 our beautiful daughter Veronica Renee Sanchez was taken from us at just 19yrs old by a coworker and senseless gun violence while at work. Something needs to be done to prevent this from continuing to happen. This petition will be going to the state capital in Austin Tx very soon to help us get the Veronica Bill passed. There needs to be more awareness about domestic violence, gun violence and workplace violence. Please sign and help prevent another family from going through the pain that we face each and everyday. This petition is to stop workplace violence. To pass this bill that if you feel uncomfortable or not safe working with certain co workers because they have made physical threats toward you or another person at the workplace. You can call this locate # and report all activity and it's completely anonymous. So no one will ever know who told anything. This can help with so much evil in this world. This way you will feel safe and comfortable while you are at work. Not worried if your co worker is going to do something bad. The House Bill for this is #915 for Workplace Hotline. Please help us end workplace violence.

The days are heavy and the work of getting this bill in front of the right people at the capital is draining. I spend most of my time fielding messages from others who have suffered through similar nightmares and their stories push me to keep going even when I feel like I have nothing left.

Having guns is a big responsibility. Need to have them locked up. Safety measures need to be made to protect. Owner is responsible for negligence.

This needs to be unforced I had a bully since 2001 and I never hated my workplace so much he was a horrible person and I sat at the edge of my bed in the morning every day before work and just cringed to go to work ! Now I’m older but when i was younger he made my life hell now I see things like this I stand up to Billy’s like that because of this but back then I was a kid to a man and it was not fair !

Veronica was a sweet and special neighbor! She was considerate of others and LOVED her rescue kitties. We will never know the full potential lost due to the senseless murder.

I 100% agree with this bill. I hope it does get passed just not because she was my only niece but i think it’s a good bill to help from things like this happening again.
