Many customers knew that transportation to work and other places was a must, therefore they refused to miss a note,and made sure their insurance was paid.
Westlake Financial, even after knowing for fact people were not missing car notes, and many of us sent Westlake solid proof that all finacial obligations were being met, but the cars were illegally repossessed
Not a letter, not a note, not a certified letter. Nothing. Was. Sent to the customers. Many lost careers, part-time jobs,and Westlake Financial wouldn't even try to send anything to let anybody know their intentions,or how could they continue taking money from our accounts after repossession of our vehicles. WESTLAKE FINANCIAL IN ESSENCE "STOLE OUR VEHICLES", THERE hasn't been one person to stand up to explain to any of us why did they "steal" our cars, and onwhat grounds is this even legal?
I ask anyone still dealing with Westlake Financial, and this foolishness to please sign this petition.

I wake up thinking about the job I lost when my car was taken and I know so many of you are carrying that same heavy burden. My inbox is filling up with stories that mirror my own nightmare and it confirms that this is a systematic pattern of cruelty. We are gathering everything needed to hold them accountable for these illegal repossessions.

Seeing the count climb this high proves that I am not the only one who had their life dismantled by these people. I remember sitting in my driveway staring at an empty space where my car used to be and feeling completely alone in this fight. This momentum means we finally have the collective strength to demand accountability for every vehicle they stole.

I paid my car in full but they keep adding fees and will not release my tittle.
Westlake stole my car even thought it was almost paid off. They "lost" my payment and took my car. I was not 30-60 or 90 days past due.
I never ever signed a contract with these ppl. I was done extremely wrong!! I got my car in December I never received ANYTHING TO IT! I was lied to about receiving plates and titles and everything! The second I went to pick up my plates after being lied to the doors was CLOSED. Now we’re left having to deal with westlake that’s been harassing me every single day. I can’t drive my car, I have no tag no nothing and they cannot provide me with anything but wanna ruin PEOPLE CREDIT?
Never got a way to tag my vehicle or register it even the state of ms couldnt get westlake to answer had to drive back and forth to work illegal . Westlake has now hit my credit report which i found strange because I never signed anything with westlake I signed an aggreement with American Car center .
I feel as if the American Car Center was very aware of their financial ruins. They still proceeded to lease cars take people's money and then when they went bankrupt try to turn our accounts over to Westlake for whom obtained false documentation on their customers. I've been under a tremendous amount of stress for the last 7 months because of this business decision that I made with this company ( ACC) I feel like I deserve some kind of compensation for the pain and suffering and the distress that my family and I have been under.
Truck illegally repossessed. I have a mountain of evidence including many phone recordings. Plenty of documents. Will not give me title after paying illegal fees and their name isn’t even on title at the DMV
I hope this doesn't happen to me I have a loan through them and I better not get repoed for making my payments wtf

Currently going through this with my daughters car. They picked her car up for the 3rd time tonight! All payments are up to date. If it happens once they will find new excuses everytime to do it again.These people are scammers and predators.
