If the Afan Valley loses it's amenities will the council tax people pay in the valley be reduced? the people in the valley can't be expected to pay for amenities that they don't have access to surely??

Both my boys learned to swim at Cymmer pool! Swimming is such an important life skill and I am saddened to think that this amenity is under threat!

The Afan valley is now a deprived area with deminishing facilities. The closure of this pool would compound the poor socio economic status of these villages

There are too many pools closing in the UK . people will have to travel further and other facilities will not cope with larger turn out causing more people to stop exercising etc and longer waiting times for swimming lessons etc ..

I can't believe that NPTCBC are even considering closing this resource. The pool is well used and a vital amenity for an extremely impoverished community. The council should be improving not reducing facilities.

Do not take any more away from the valley's it's a deprived areas & needs facilities family's may not be able to travel 10 miles to the nearest leisure centre

As an Afan Valley teacher, I keep seeing my pupils losing more. The library, community centres. Closing the pool further will only impact negatively on life.
