why are you taking everything away from us, most of the people got to travel for work commitments as it is and now your trying to make us travel even further for our leisure facilities... Spend the money you got for the afon Lido on saving all the valley facilities, port talbot have managed this long without their pool...

Love this pool ! Gone since a kid and now take mine! Just hassle for everyone if its closed! I dont even live in the valleys! Lido's not being built any time soon! Why shut the things that matter! There's nothing up the valleys any more!

My cousin was one of four boys who drowned off Aberavon in 1932, there is a large memorial to them just inside Cymmer cemetery. Children need to learn to swim and to take away this facility is not just cruel it is downright dangerous.

Just shared the link to this on the local group for Cymmer that my wife set up recently as well to try to help spread the word. It's more than just about the pool for me - we can't let the council keep taking things away from us as there isn't much left as it is. Cymmer needs more for people living here, not less.

DON'T close this pool, Cymmer needs it not just for kids but for people trying to lose weight or get fitter. My daughter loves swimming here and I will too as soon as health problems sorted out.

It is an essential part of this area. The area has very little left; please do not take the pool away. The children from the local schools cannot travel to the other pools in the area, as the round trip would be too much for the younger ones.would take

cymmer pool is the nicest cleanest pool we have in the port talbot area. It is shocking to even consider closing it. Pretty soon there will be nothing left for children at all.

Swimming is an essential life skill, I have bought my kids here since they were weeks old, I feel the closure of this fantastic facility would be a huge loss to the valley where kids are already starting off at a disadvantage, in a culture where obesity and associated health problems are on the rise, wouldn't it be very short sighted of the council to close it??

hopefully our local councillors are creating havock in their meetings over this matter,it`s at times like this that they repay us for the confidence we had in electing them.save the pool and some other cuts that I understand are on the agenda
