The fact that I have to come to campus 2.5hrs before class just to get a parking spot is completely ridiculous! How are we expected to get our education if we dont have anywhere to park.....EVER!

Parking is an ongoing issue that is never addressed. Parking is too expensive and insufficient.

I just graduated for the University of Georgia and now attending UTC as a post bacc and I was amazed at how awful the parking system was here compared to UGA. Arriving to campus an hour early and still being late to class is unacceptable! Its just a game a chance to find a parking spot in general parking if you dont have an 8am class and this was never an issue at UGA! At UGA everybody bought a tag for a certain lot to park in that way you always had a spot and they did not sell more parking tags than there were spots! UGA did it right and UTC REALLY needs to expand in parking and work on their system to better accommodate their students who pay a lot to attend UTC and who need to work on their degree for their career instead of getting parking tickets and stressing about parking!

I was lucky enough to have a reserved spot. Nevertheless, I fail to understand how closing a lot, which has a huge amount of parking, and then expecting people to find a place to park is logical. Either open the lot or stop giving tickets unless it's for handicapped violation. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that this is unfair.

Parking has become impossible for anyone not showing up before 8 AM. After that point the only way to get a spot is by parking at Engall stadium. With all the growth that the college has seen I've yet to see any expansion for its parking and this can't continue.

I show up 40min before my class and am still late sometimes. For people with general parking, it's really just a game of luck.

I feel like UTC parking is intentionally lacking to create revenue for the school. I don't mind coming here and paying tuition, but how infuriating is it to only get fined more and more by the school each year for different things? The ridiculousness of UTC parking is only closely matched by the idiotic required meal plan for those living on campus. Think about your actions and how the policy of expensive and frequent tickets affects the students that pay for this institution.

Parking fees are ridiculous. There is not enough parking unless you park at Findley stadium which is absurd! And they love giving parking tickets

I don't attend UTC but it's not right that for one school is already very expensive, on top of that we are paying top dollars and the least a University can do is provide a plethora of parking spots. Dabb

I support Quay and everything she stands for. But I remember I had $220 ticket for parking in a halfway empty lot. Smh.

Why pay to be able to have access to something I already payed an arm an a leg for? As if UTC doesn't have enough ways to take more money from us... It's ridiculous. Since there obviously aren't enough spots then just stop with the passes. Instead of more housing, try more parking.
