No more public money on this flawed proposal

I'm saying a definite NO to more public funding being supplied to NEGC Ltd. We have better things to do with the budgets.

When our Councils are complaining that on going Conservative austerity measures are having detrimental effects on the emergency services, schools, road repairs and care for the elderly they have no right to squander £100,000 on failed garden projects.

My faith in the council has dropped even further

Please can we revert to the real world. We do not have sufficient capacity in our schools, hospitals & public transport. Interesting one interested profit making family have already invested circa £4m on an alternative house!!!!!

These Garden Communities are just another completely crazy idea. This council seems intent on wasting OUR money, it has got to stop ! We have seen enough. Dreadful waste of money on consulatations. Wasting money on building, places we do not want & didn't ask for. How dare they assume they they can continue doing this.

Roads, schools doctors not adequate for this amount of homes.

MASS NEW HOME DEVELOPMENT IN ESSEX = There will be an increase of approximately 2 extra cars on the road, per new home built. The impact on lung health and cancer risk due to the increase in emissions from not only all the extra vehicles (including carcinogenic tyre dust particles) but from the extra gas boilers and lawn mowers will increase dramatically. Vehicle emissions in many areas within most Essex towns and cities already exceed the safe limit. Stansted Airport will come under even more pressure to provide a new runway eventually leading to more pollution too. Apparently many new homes will have E Car charging points but according to many people in the motor industry it will take at least 30 years before all local drivers own such vehicles. Lung related disease is one of the fastest growing killers in the South East. Our roads, which are already terribly congested will become gridlocked. Hospitals and GP Surgeries will become even more overwhelmed putting even more lives at risk. Over 70% of the proposed new home developments appear to consist of 3 plus bedroom houses. These will inevitably be purchased by buyers with no doubt on average two children who will, either now or in the near future, fuel local first time buyer demand. This will push the prices of flats to an even higher level and neutralise any benefit created by increasing housing supply overall. Local youngsters will eventually find it more difficult to get onto the property ladder with this substantial increase in first time buyer competition. Youngsters will have more competition when eventually trying to find work due to the increase in population. Job opportunity may increase but not at the same speed. Sky News on the 17th March 2018 revealed that Chelmsford Council already cannot cope with the refuse that is being produced by the city. There appears to be no provisions for extra reservoirs to cope with the increase in water demand, leading to more frequent hose pipe
