I know there is a housing shortage but should we be building them on land that could grow food? Imports of food can't be guaranteed! Also just how future proof are these new homes? Do they have off road parking for several cars and are there secure outside electric car charging points for every new house?

Not a single penny more of my hard earned taxes should be spent on this unnecessary and unwanted scheme. Leave the fields and woodland alone.

These developements fly in face of policies such as HS2 which is supposed to take the pressure of the South by opening up the North.

Already annoyed that my council have given some of my council tax for a project I do NOT want. Why should I be expected to contribute EVEN MORE. Go away.

Shambles, someone needs to be held to account for this dreadful waste! Crime is on the increase and budgets are being slashed to fund this vanity project!

No more money should be allowed to be directed towards NEGC. What can they do with but sit on it. The money should be used for local people in their present communities now.

Appalled by this. The three garden communities were rejected by the inspector and, until a new plan is found sound, NEGC Ltd should be wound down.

Any further tax payers' money spent by these councils should be offered to parish councils to guarantee that they all have Neighbourhood plans in place before Local Plans are agreed. If local councils then think there is further need for more housing they should consult with the tax payers, come up with a plan that is then voted on in a referendum, like Neighbourhood Plans are. Not everyone will agree in a referendum, but at least democracy is seen to be done.

Time to stop this fiasco and block any further payments to a now defunct and derelict NEGC.
