"Would I spend my money this way?" That is the question the council should ask when deciding how to spend public funds. I suspect the answer is a resounding NO.

Outrageous, when money for councils is in such short in supply, these parasites should not be given any further funding

When will you listen to the local residents? We do not need or want this scale of development

It is wholly inappropriate to spend yet more money on this failed project

Fed up with the same old cronies banging on about how desperately we need houses. NEGC Ltd isn't the only way to deliver

enough already, we don't want this building, its a blackhole of cash. The infrastructure isn't there and will never be. The countryside will disappear and the level of traffic and people will increase to make this beautiful part of the country yet another inner city area with nothing but concrete as far as the eye can see.

The Councils should concentrate on housing their homeless and their poorest, not fuelling a boom for developers and buy-to-let landlords.

We must have more transparency. Good money being poured after bad. Conflict of interest must be investigated and the directors held to account.

Extraordinary that they are ploughing on in defiance of the inspector’s conclusions. Like obstinate teenagers carelessly burning through their parents hard-earned cash. They forget who they are answerable to.

The inspector's letter was very clear. The authorities have misinterpreted it. No more money to NEGC.

Observing the NEAs fumble with the Local Plan is like seeing an expensive vase in the hands of a chimpanzee. You can be sure that it will end in fragments, the only question is the precise circumstances of its wreckage.

Anyone who looks at the facts and figures will see that NEGC has no chance of delivering its eye catching objectives. Its time to stop it.
