Given the project has been rejected, asking for additional tax payers' money on top of £2m already handed over is a disgrace and should not be allowed to happen under any circumstance. They haven't even provided any kind of justification to back up their request for more money, which amounts to arrogance!

Garden Communities as proposed by NEGC are seriously flawed. They combine homes in the wrong places, massive infrastructure costs, mostly aspirational / executive homes and offer little opportunity for cycling to places of employment. Additionally they ignore needs of local communities and have been chosen as a result of councils receiving funding incentives from Government. They are not appropriate for rural North Essex.
