No consideration regarding the infrastructure and the inspectors clearly stated 'back to the drawing board'. No more money!!!

The money could be spent where it’s needed. We should have a say where our taxes are spent. It’s criminal.

Absolutely no more tax payers money for this horrific set of projects.

There's a mechanism to pay money but none, I assume, to stop. Disjointed governance.

Please let me know for precisely what is this outrageous some required and what exactly is expected in return.

No new plan has been proposed since the inspector soundly rejected the last one so this is an irresponsible waste of money.

Listen to the Public we do not want a Garden Village that will need a re- routing of the A12.

This is simply throwing good money after bad. It’s time to recognise this for what is is - a vanity project.

The NEGC project is going to be a disaster, ignoring all the strong objections of local residents. It has already been thrown out by the Government Inspector. It does not deserve yet more money.

Shocking use of money - this project is totally untenable and no more money should be allocated. Horrific waste of limited resources.

The garden community is madness - not thought through at all and damaging in so many ways. Plans have been turned down and yet more money is being ploughed into a lost cause - shocking when that money could better serve the communities. Enough is enough.

Excessive building already. Colchester is ruined. Tollgate shoddy development built on dodgy land will soon be a getto.

New homes will be needed BUT private companies building private properties must be funded privately

This has been done to death. Any continuation by the council can only be construed as corruption and fraud.

NEEGC was created to deliver Garden Communities and its Board repeats this at every opportunity. The Section 1 plan has been found unsound and consequently there is nothing to deliver. There is no need for additional money to be spent until there is an agreed plan supported by local communities (see CBC agreed joint) political communique. No more money should be spent on this unwanted vanity project.

Any decision to contribute more money should wait until the outcome of the new sustainability assessment is known
