We cannot afford to allow this valuable farming land to be built over There are so many houses being built in Essex and with all the extra people to feed the amount of footprint used to bring the food into Essex the exploding public will be a catastrophe

This venture is costing to much, the road system is not being improved and it’s currently bursting at full capacity. We cant get off or onto the estate as traffic on A120 does not slow or stop for the roundabouts so you nearly get hit by oncoming traffic. There is no crossing at the garage end to safely cross the road. Its just ridiculous trying to add to an already over populated area. Go AWAY!!

As it is now this roads, doctors surgery, hospital, station car parks are all full to bursting - what about the infrastructure.

Spend money on brownfield and infills; and regenerating towns. Not on ruining North Essex

No more building in the Marks Tey or Colchester is needed. There’s not sufficient infrastructure to cope with it and the roads are overly congested increasing pollution etc. Keep this beautiful countryside and enjoy it.

This is an absolute scandal. Local government at its worst. Why haven't more mainstream journalists caught hold of this? Is it too untouchable?

The local amenities cannot handle additional traffic from the new houses and new roads. The noise pollution to our homes will be greater as well as pollution from the vehicles
