Stop Unfair Taxation of Nanoose Bay Property Owners!

I request that you rescind Bylaw 899.02. I do not agree to any tax participation in a facility that I will never use. The distance too great and we have a convenient recreation facility in Fairwinds, that is more than suitable for my use.

The inclusion of Electoral Area E makes no sense. It is a 40 minute drive to that pool and I know of nobody in our area that uses it. Fo those that do want to swim, there is a pool in our community centre that those who do use it pay for in monthly fees. Nobody from other areas get taxed to pay for its upkeep.

We do not support RDN Bylaw Amendment 899.02. As residents of Nanoose for 21 years we have never used that facility and never will. So we strongly oppose being taxed for it!

I am opposed to the RDN Bylaw Amendment 899.02 as a Nanoose Bay resident. Any public pool funds should be allocated to a location in Parksville where there is greater population base.

We do not use the facility in QB and as property owners in Nanoose Bay, we do not agree to any tax participation for Ravensong Pool. We strongly oppose being forced participants in Bylaw 899.02. and believe the bylaw should be rescinded

As Nanoose Bay residents, we strongly object to any tax participation for the Ravensong Pool!or being a forced participant in Bylaw 899.02. We request RDN Bylaw 899.02 be rescinded.

Please rescind bylaw 899.02 as it is illogical. I have never used Ravensong Pool as it it too far for me to make sense. Furthermore, I pay for the use of the pool in Nanoose Bay, which we have at Fairwinds, when I want to swim.

I am opposed to paying increased taxes to support another municipalities expenses.

We strongly request that this new bylaw be rescinded. We do not use the facility at Ravensong. It is too far to go! Therefore we see no reason or benefit in supporting upgrades to this pool to the tune of $31.000,000!! The time is long overdue for a public pool in Parksville which we would gladly support. I am totally opposed to this assessment.

I strongly disagree to being taxed for the expansion of the Ravensong Pool or being a forced participant in Bylaw 899.02. As a Nanoose Bay property owner, I implore the RDN to rescind Bylaw 899.02 as in the 12 years I have lived in Nanoose Bay, I have never and will never use the Ravensong Pool.
