Please put our kids (future) first and pay our educators to stay in this area.

We will surely lose our amazing teachers to better paying districts if we don't step up and offer them the same pay and benefits as our surrounding areas. We are in a top rated district and our teachers deserve to be paid top dollar for their dedication and commitment to exceeding our expectations. All we are asking for is equal pay and benefits!

So disappointing that a district with the income and performance levels of USD treats its teachers with such utter disregard

USD have the best teachers that uphold the highest standards! As a graduate of Lone Hill and UnionMiddle School myself and then my five kids these teachers deserve everything they ask for and more!

Top teachers deserve top pay. Our entire community benefits from a strong school community that compensates teachers fairly for the work they do.

I grew up attending the schools in this district. Teachers are deeply influential and deserve to be paid accordingly.

The district needs to realize that schools can run without administration, but they will stop to exist when there are no teachers. Health Insurance should be equal for all admin and teachers. If the district admin get free health care so should the teachers.

Please don't make our teachers leave to another district. They will!!!! Our daughters went through USD what a wonderful experience for them. We need to keep our wonderful teachers...

All three of my children went through the district schools, where our dedicated teachers provided them with a great foundation for future studies. Our children deserve great teachers and our teachers deserve a decent income. We need to raise their income, otherwise they can't and will not stay.

Union School District carried me through kindergarten all the way through high school. I wouldn't be where I am without their amazing teachers! They helped me both in my personal and academic journey. They deserve to be paid for all the wonderful work they do on and off the clock! This is a no brainer!

How is this even a discussion? Pay our teachers what they deserve.

My experience learning from exceptional USD teachers inspired me to become an educator. I currently live within the district bounds and would love nothing more to work in the community I call home. I simply can't afford it. Young teachers should not be forced to commute to higher paying districts when our own home district is consistently ranked amongst the best time and time again. This is absolutely not fair and borderline immoral. One day I hope to give back to the district that gave so much to me! Please pay our hardworking teachers fair wages!

Considering that teachers are the people who actually make a change through the eyes of the students who will eventually make the future, it's appalling to see the disrespect and inconsiderate choices towards them made by the Board. The Board literally only works in an office while teachers are the one who are actively impacting our lives and readying us for the future. The most decent thing they could do is treat them fairly by giving them affordable healthcare and etc. Plus it's not like teachers are getting paid a lot like those on Board.
