Fracing has known harm to environment and injection Wells cause earthquakes. Please stop this. If the companies complied 100% I might have a different opinion

The costs of fracking are too dangerous and destructive to be allowed to continue.

It's so clear from all the earthquakes in Ohio and other places that this is just not a good idea from any perspective.

Wrong place. Wrong geology. Wrong idea. No more injection wells in PA.

I am very concerned with family I have in PA and the effects of this shortsighted decision on the environment and citizen safety. Fracking has not been proven to be safe and our citizen's lives should not be taking so lightly.

Ban fracking now! Why is no one representing the people and environment against this absolutely stupid, toxic, greed-driven practice? Carbon emissions are skyrocketing from fossil fuel use, watersheds are being irreversibly polluted. It's outrageous and must stop.

Citizens of Pennsylvania have a right to clean water. Just say no to fracking!

Please consider our future generations by not leaving them a filthy, desecrated state once known as PennWoods by putting an end to the obscenely invasive and environmentally destructive practice of fracking and all it's accompanying practices such as containment wells, pipelines etc.

There has to be a stop to the endless destruction of land and public health and community at the hands of both the fracking industry and the government and agencies of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. ZELMAN #1 BY WINDFALL OIL & GAS INC. CRITICAL OBJECTIONS The injection well is perilously close to the DuBois reservoir and wells which supply many local municipalities with water. There are 272 property owners within one mile that will likely lose their property value. There are 107 private water wells at risk within a one mile radius. There are 26 old gas wells that may act as conduits (some plugged, some not,) two aredeep wells that were fracked and that have fractures that are inside the 1Ž4 mile area of review. There are two fault lines in the Onondaga formation which lies above the Oriskany injection well target formation, one is only a half mile away from the EPA permitted injection well site. There are many homes and an elementary school on the same road that the trucks carrying toxic and radioactive waste will be traveling. There are already two other injection wells in the county, the Irvin, not far from the one that this hearing is about, leaked because of being operated through a mechanical failure for several months at pressures exceeding the allowable maximum. Another well is currently being proposedin Huston Township in Clearfield County and one is proposed for Indianacounty and one for Elk County despite studies being done that show most of Pennsylvania is unsuited for waste disposal. (shouldn’t be ok for unconventional wells either.) Clearfield County is infamous for its high pyrite and sulfur concentrations, the neighboring Centre County taxpayers had to spend tens of millions for remediation as the disturbed pyrite ruined water sources. One of the most disturbing facts is that the wall of one of the largest underground deep coal mine networks lies within the 1Ž4 mile review area of the EPA permitted injection well site. C

When Pennsylvania welcomed fracking it was with hopes for regulated methods, enlivened economy, and restored landscape. It has, instead, been burdened with ecological devastation, ravaged wilderness and decimated wildlife, and an economy in ruins. The promises are lies. The vision is a farce. Stop allowing the destruction of a once-beautiful state for the shallowest greed - and shame for cosidering this outrageous plan.

People need to start coming first. Their health, their livelihoods, their legacies, they all depend on having clean air and water and they all are going to be impacted by this. Pennsylvania's citizens are not disposable and are looking for strong leadership to act on their behalf before it's too late.

Please reject this injection well. Injection wells such as the one proposed here have been linked to earthquakes in other parts of the country. If the fracking industry cannot dispose of the waste that it produces without risk of earthquake or contamination of drinking water supplies, there should be no fracking.

Governor Wolf: Until the state can demonstrate that these waste injection wells can be done safely -- and no state has -- it is the height of irresponsibility to permit them. Please don't.
