Fracking injection wells cause earthquakes and can contaminate ground water. It is unconscionable to continue this practice and to continue to expand HVHF.

This is too far. (too close, actually) to people's homes and water sources. We are all downstream and accelerated fracking has done nothing but hyper accelerated the problems associated with it and that is just the problems we know about (let alone health issues yet to have surfaced. )

Time to stop the insanity here in Pennsylvania. Our children and their children after that will already be paying for our lack of foresight

This is outrageous. I thought fracking was decreasing in PA, but Gov. Wolf wants to increase it. No!!

Listen to the people! Our health and safety must over ride companies for profit. It's just plain common sense. Our state's future must be protected, one simple NO at a time. You can't ignore the reprocussions.

The injection well is extremely close to the DuBois reservoir and wells which supply many local municipalities with water. There are 272 property owners within one mile that will likely lose their property value. There are 107 private water wells at risk within a one mile radius. There are 26 old gas wells that may act as conduits (some plugged, some not,) two are deep wells that were fracked and that have fractures that are inside the area of review. There are two fault lines in the Onondaga formation which lies above the Oriskany injection well target formation, one is only a half mile away from the EPA permitted injection well site. There are many homes and an elementary school on the same road that the trucks carrying toxic and radioactive waste will be traveling.

Pennsylvania is unsuited for waste disposal. Clearfield County is infamous for its high pyrite and sulfur concentrations, the neighboring Centre County taxpayers had to spend tens of millions for remediation as the disturbed pyrite ruined water sources.

Please protect our planet from this environmental devastation. The cumulative impact of this project will negatively affect generations to come.

Why would you put this injection well so close to a residential area?

If we kept fossil fuels in the ground where they belong, we wouldn't have to create injection wells to begin with.

Fracking is destructive to the environment and tour water supply.

Same thing holds true for the two new injection wells being planned for Bear Lake, PA in the headwaters of French Creek, feeding the Allegheny River. It's getting out of control.

This kind of industry is bad for the state, it creates an image of a careless and backwards population, kids who do well in school all leave the area because they see it this way, no one educated wants to move back or start businesses in western PA because of industry like this that compromises the quality of live and endangers peoples health.
