Listen, I usually can adjust to 90% of the Tumblr updates, because some of them actually have been useful to me once I learn them. But as someone who roleplays (not saying the staff should cater to just us) it's incredibly frustrating with this newest update. We trim posts to keep the dash clean. Without the ability to do that it's ridiculous to try and keep my blog running.
Not to mention this also screwed over artists and makes it easier for their art to be stolen. Please, I know the staff never listens but you have just inconvienced many of your users and will lose many users quickly if it isn't fixed properly.
Suggestion: please make an easier messaging system if possible. That's what most of us want.

Whilst we rpers aren't the core audience when it comes to Tumblr blogging, the updates most of the time don't help anyone. It makes things clunky, it's all un-friendly to their users, and it's eventually going to make them lose their users.

This is becoming ridiculous. While I get the purpose, in a way, this is pushing things a little too far. Regardless of how you use the site - people want to be able to trim a post. No one likes walls of text to scroll past, the second I see that sort of thing I sign out, it is tedious and messy. Change it back to how it was before this pointless update. If I wanted to use the mobile app, I would. Seeing as I don't, this update just makes tumblr ten times harder to use and makes me wonder why I'm even bothering at this point.

I do want to say this- guys, please keep things civil. They're not doing these updates to make us miserable. I'm frustrated with this, too, but we don't need to be hateful to let the staff know we don't like this change.

Giving bloggers the option whether or not to secure the words they post while editing would clearly be a better solution than this. A large community is being wiped out for the convenience of other users. This hinders creativity, and ultimately prevents many of us from being able to use tumblr altogether. It's just not fair.

This new update is a little ridiculous. Some of the other ones, whatever, but now? Now, you cant delete things from a post when you do things? Fix the message system not cutting our posts. Even people who use personal blogs most likely want to cut some things.
