Tumblr, please change it back to how it was before. It is unnecessarily complicated. It doesn't work on your mobile platforms, and it works less well on PC.

This is atrocious, you've made a whole community unable to do what they were doing and for what reason?
No one benefits from this. If people want to cut posts, they should be able to. Especially considering that sometimes there are things added onto posts that you just don't want to have on your blog.
This is not only terrible for roleplayers, it's terrible for the whole tumblr community.

honestly it's just stupid that people's posts get messed with all the time and cause an ACTUAL problem at times, but suddenly when the STAFF'S post gets changed, there's an update to prevent it. this is so stupid, honestly.

@staff, why don't you do something PRODUCTIVE ?? Like let sideblods make asks without having to go on anonymous?? All these things are useless!!

Really, this whole new update that disables trimming is ticking me off, we're roleplayers on tumblr and we trim posts because we don't want to be oBNOXIOUS to our followers!! STOP trying to fix shit when it doesn't NEED TO BE FIXED

This is a serious bother to the Roleplay side of the Tumblr community which is a very large community. If Tumblr staff would be so kind as to change it back because, you've basically upset everyone on this fine Thursday.

This is the worst update yet. There was NOTHING wrong with how it was before so what was the need for changing it? Put it back how it was or at least make it OPTIONAL. Stop making your website inaccessible!

As a frequent roleplayer on tumblr, this new update really bothers the hell out of me. We cut posts so everything isn't cluttered. If the staff don't fix it soon, I, along with a huge majority of various other users, will leave to find an alternative website. Because honestly, you could at least ASK if we even want an update.
