I'm just looking at this from a broad perspective. Updates are supposed to provide a more user friendly interface when they're implemented. Sadly to say, none of the Tumblr updates have done just that.

I'm sorry, but this is appalling. I can deal with most of the updates but not being able to trim posts is just HELL. Tumblr STOP FUCKING TRYING TO FIX THINGS THAT AREN'T BROKEN, YOU JUST MAKE EVERYTHING WORSE.

I feel like there is a serious disconnect between tumblr staff's ideas and what average tumblr users really want from the service.

This update is going to make the site cluttered and ineffective. I wish the staff paid better attention to the reactions to each update or at least ask for input before making the update. If you don't care about your users, you will lose all of them. Tumblr is a very interconnected community--you will have a mass exodus.

Please get rid of this stupid and useless update...taking away the option to cut posts is beyond stupid. How about giving us an option to use the new update or not...or actually listening to your users everyone once in a while.

I for one am sick of these so called updates. They only make tumblr worse and I am starting to hate it. tumblr used to be fun but now with all the updates no one can do anything and have it make sense. Make it stop.

Tumblr, please do the smart thing and listen to your user base. We don't say one thing and mean another. These pointless, and frankly terrible updates drive away more and more of your users. Please get smart, or at least make a way for users to choose to have the new updates or not.

Please listen to your roleplaying community. They make up a MASSIVE amount of your users and every single time you make an update, it ruins another part of how things function. We are tired and disgruntled of having our ability to play slowly destroyed.

I'm really not thrilled about this at all. As a rloeplayer, it's very important to me to be able to keep thinks concise, which I am unable to do currently.
