Tumblr/Yahoo are not thinking about the true convenience of more than half their users. It has to stop.

i have been on this site for almost 5 years now and with the exception of perhaps 2 or 3 updates, everything that staff had done to 'improve' or to 'better the experience' has been absolutely awful. not only is it confusing but it makes the site difficult to navigate. instead of updating the site, why not get someone to work on your mobile app instead. that shit is ridiculous. get your priorities in line.

I understand how this may have -seemed- right to you. But cutting posts, on many parts of Tumblr, is a necessity - one which you're taking away. We wish you would check with the people of the site to see what does and doesn't work, asking them directly, rather than assuming you know.

For writer blogs of any kind, cutting posts is a necessity to not clog up dashes, please, for the love of god, just stop making updates that only confuses the users and makes using the website ten times harder about every month or so!

For a lot of people, being able to write on tumblr is both a fun activity and an emotional outlet. By enacting this update, the staff is taking away an escape from reality and something that people love to do. So please change it back.
