It's ludicrous, isn't needed, will cause tailbacks in every direction, the public were never consulted on this!!!

This is an accident waiting to happen. Foot bridges across the roads would be a better option or pelican crossings, not traffic lights.

Driving to work from Holton le Clay every morning is stressful, quite often cannot even turn onto the a16 from the village, traffic lights are not the answer. Currently the traffic constantly flows, but traffic lights will make it a stand still.

I agree there should be some changes to the junction , but it does not need the roundabout removing, it needs 4 pelican crossings on each approach to the roundabout which will allow children and pedestrians to cross safely at peak times.

Totally ridiculous idea when traffic already flows freely and school can always cross the road. An utter waste of money when there are much more deserved projects that need attending to in the area.

The only way to keep the kids safe is a footbridge from new waltham to the school. Put in more lay bys for parents to drop the children off so they don't block the road - this is a big cause of the slow moving traffic in a morning. Traffic lights will not help with the flow of traffic at all!

Traffic lights are the worst possible option. I travel over this roundabout often and rarely have to wait, with lights I will rarely go through without stopping. It will not improve safety, in fact vehicles will be travelling faster over the junction meaning accidents with pedestrians will be more likely and more serious. Does a child have to die before this madness is stopped.
