A costly exercise that will not relieve the problem all this for the sake of a couple of hours on a school night but hey why listen to the people it really impacts on you've just delivered a done deal with no proper consultation at all

Putting traffic lights at Tollbar and taking away a perfectly good roundabout away that works perfectly fine and only has a problem at peak times is a expensive and unnecessary, this is more to do with the planning for 400 homes to be built and nothing to do with listening to the people who use this roundabout on a daily basis. This has people talking and it’s just another thing NELC who are elected by the people of this town and they ignore what we say .

We don't need traffic lights all the time . Why can't we have them at busy periods whilst still keeping the round about or better still leave well alone . The children need to learn to cross the road

The residents are not being listened to. Where will the congested traffic flow to? It isn't a bottle neck that will quickly disappear as cars flow through the junction. Northbound traffic in a morning will quickly back up from the roundabouts at the New Waltham end of Peaks Parkway and this disputed junction at TollBar will be as congested as it is now (before the £2.1m "upgrade").

I believe traffic lights are based more on new housing project and movement of new wind turbines than personal safety
