After being stuck in traffic for twenty minutes twice this week due to temporary traffic lights at waltham toll bar , I question the wisdom of replacing the roundabout with traffic lights !!

The traffic flows freely apart from school starting and leaving. This could be resolved by placing pelion crossings. A lot cheaper than, 2.1 million

The council refuse to erect temporary lights because they know damn well that they won't improve anything only make it 10 times worse. They should have listened to joe public and put a roundabout at peaks parkway /weelsby road when they filled the underpass. Traffic lights do not work , turn then off and traffic flows freely , people tend to use more sense. Continuous nose to tail traffic along weelsby road every day morning and evening proves traffic lights restrict the flow. Total waste of money but then the council know better because they don't drive these roads.

The council don't listen to the residents who have voiced their opinions . Brown envelopes is all they care about. Vote them out !

I use this roundabout all the time and the disruption would cause me to drive miles out of my way, many will do the same and this will cause a rat run on minor roads in the area, for a very long time.

this roundabout works very well for 22 hours every day and school holidays why fix it with expensive traffic lights (more electricity 24hours a day) to cause chaos
