This does not need to happen or should happen. 22 hours of the day this roundabout flows without any interference. They've just got money to spend and will spend it anywhere to tick a box. Shameful

I regularly despair at the foolish and blinkered decisions made by NELC. Every man and his dog can see that replacing the current roundabout with traffic lights is the wrong decision. Why is it that only the buffoons in NELC believe this is the way forward?? A scandalous waste of taxpayers money at the same time as not achieving a desired outcome. Just who will be accountable for this utter madness!

Part time traffic lights on the existing roundabout for use at peak times and a footbridge for the students surely better than the removal of the roundabout. And cheaper!

As usual, a very poorly thought out scheme and waste of money. Traffic is slow at rush hour times but constantly moving so doesn't take long to get through. Traffic lights will cause longer slower queues as recently demonstrated by temporary lights in Station road. Ultimately the queues are more likely to last longer throughout the day.
All that is needed is a proper pedestrian crossing from the school side to Humberston Avenue, and across to Louth Road side.
It would be better for those pupils walking to Scartho to have a footpath along the inside of the school fencing and a one way turnstile gate out, this would reduce the crowds of children on the pavement outside the school. The bus stop could be moved up a few yards. The council really need a more common sense approach to all these major decisions, and listen to the people who vote for them!

Toll Bar roundabout gets busy but it keeps moving. This will just bring Traffic to a complete standstill. And will push traffic to different routes which will bring them to a standstill.

Another case of behind the scenes one deals ! We pay for council services but are not getting honest answers , truly unprofessionalism as usual , ! Stop and listen !

I use this roundabout regularly, traffic flows well. If it’s about the students safety, involve the school and their parents in the best solution
