The proposed EPCOR hostile takeover is disgraceful and probably dishonest. Time for a new Council.

This whole mess is way to reminiscent of the type of corruption you would expect to find in East coast, big city politics. One of the reasons we moved to Edgewood was to try to get away from that. Lets not let greed, deceit, and corruption take over our city government.

The town can't even maintain the roads. How in the world do they expect to maintain a 24/7/365 utility like a water company?

I came to Edgewood for a better life than the city could offer, and my experience with Mayor Bassett and the town council has been deplorable. I'm leaving after only 2 years. Edgewood is a hillbilly dog pound.

This Town Council is NOT representative of the interests of the majority of property owners in Edgewood. And, “someone” is lining his pockets with the aid of two disinterested Council Members who supposedly represent Edgewood voters.

I never thought I'd see the day Edgewood would go Draconian. Throw the bums out!

Turn this over to Larry Barker, and to the State Attorney General for action against the lawless mayor and town council that is allowing this to happen.

This is the highest level of corruption and deep state attitude I've seen since the beginning of Edgewood. 100% against our city taking over a well maintained, well managed water system. We should start a recall petition for the mayor and councilmen/women.

There is nothing beneficial to Edgewood citizens about the town of Edgewood acquiring the Epcor water company.
