Stop the "We don't serve your kind here" bill in Tennessee

It's time to move forward, TN. This happens in Russia....not the US.

This bill is completely unconstitutional (Pub.L. 88–352, 78 Stat. 241, enacted July 2, 1964). What's next? Schools allowed to discriminate and keep gay teens from attending their schools? Gays not allowed to buy or rent housing? Where does it stop???

When will the hate stop just because someone may have a different lifestyle than another person. Jesus says Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. If a true christian wants to let their light shine, denying service to a homosexual is not the way to do it. Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. We can not force our religion on others, that would be like forcing someone to go to the altar to "accept Christ". America is a beautiful place because of the diverse people that are in it. We should be so proud to accept them for who they are and stop expecting every person to be the same. When I see such strong hatred in people, it makes me lose a little bit of my faith, but I stay strong with hopes that "religious" people will be more like Jesus. He accepts everyone, are you so much better than him that you dont have to? I don't think so.

I am old enough to remember the days when this likd of exclusion was practiced against people of other races. The justification was religious then too.

Too many good people fought for too long, some at high costs, including death, to fight for civil rights and dignity for oppressed communities. Please vote no to this horrific bill. Let's not turn back the clock to a time where hate and fear were allowed to reign. You are better than this abominable bill. Vote your conscience. Not your fear. I am so thankful that when Jesus said ""Come to me, all you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest" he didn't end it with "unless you're gay. 'Cause if you're gay, I'm sorry, but I'm not obligated to provide you with goods and services."

I am not only offended by the suggestion that this is right, I am offended by the stupidity of it as well.

I live in your district in Germantown but you do NOT represent me with this bill! Remember that the 9/11 bombers also had strong religious beliefs. Please withdraw this. You do not want to get the reputation of being like Stacy Campfield.

Tennessee is a beautiful state and should encourage its citizens to act in a beautiful way toward every person.

Each person is entitled to their belief system and make choices based on that system. To institutionalize a belief that fails to honor another person's beliefs, and to show disrespect to that person and deny their dignitiy is nothing short of amoral on any scale. There is no place in our society for legislation that seeks to punish others simply because they are not like us.

This bill is yet another embarrassment for our state. This bill must go.

We shouldn't be electing bigots that propose this garbage.
