It really doesn’t matter what one’s position is on homosexuality……no one should be refused goods/services just because of their particular posture/leanings in this life. We don’t refuse service to unmarried people of the opposite sex who live together, or to people who don’t go to church………yes, one may not agree with some such things, but no one should be refused goods/services just because of such things. Such thing (and particularly because it’s coming from TN) makes me want to hide under a bush…….it’s really archaic and embarrassing.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 obviously means nothing to Senator Kelsey.

It is hard to even believe that this is real. I am shocked and saddened that such prejudice exists. How can treat another person with so little respect and compassion. I am ashamed that one of these people is from Knoxville.

Please, really, come on now people. Are you even adept enough to "know" who's gay? This is ridiculous .

Equal rights. Civil rights. Let's stop the divisive and unproductive legislation and move on to improving life for all Tennesseans.

Everyone should be treated alike. They are human.. all breath, eat, sleep, work, then get to make their own choices about how and with whom they live their lives.

lets just keep religion out of government or make them pay their share of taxes and get rid of these republicans that refuse to get with the program and off the discrimination wagon

please keep our state from turning into a gateway for the Klan to embrace. This is not the way to attract business. This is the way to turn back the clock to the discrimination of the civil rights era. It smacks of ignorance. Please, there are so many worthwhile causes to embrace. Create a job. Don't turn them away.
