I vehemently oppose this proposed project. As a former City Planner and Real Estate agent this project will have severe detrimental effects on the area and the surrounding communities.

This commercial project in a residential area makes no sense at all in this location

The projected water use is off the scale along with noise and light pollution. People that own homes and live in that area moved there for peace and quiet And a little golf and tennis. We need to protect that lifestyle. This project needs to be built somewhere else.

Why a water park in the desert - or better yet move the project over to Salton Sea and channel the water from Sea of Cortez.

Our continuing drought cannot handle current residential and commercial water usage. It's irresponsible to increase our water shortage by adding a wave pool and additional, excessive STVR development. We had to remove residential water features/fountains, desert scape our lawns and spend millions of tax dollars for the city to replace grass medians with desert scape to help alleviate our current water shortage. We cannot manage any further drain on our water usage nor the additional traffic congestion and past negative experience excessive STVR traffic in our city regardless of any future revenue tourists may bring. Please stop the "RAVE POOL."

There’s no need to change zoning for this commercial operation, and we want to maintain the serene environment for quiet enjoyment of nature.

Bad use of water and to much traffic. The events will cost the city a lot of police, fire and medical money. No, no, no

There is way to much open land in this valley to put a recreational facility of this magnitude. Disrupting the natural beauty of the Coral Mountains should not have been an option from the beginning. Find another spot to put this money maker

This mostly commercial development has no place in Coral Mountain, La Quinta. The shameful use of our precious water to build a surf park in the desert is more than absurd. It will also include STVR’s. Aren’t we banning those? The noise, light towers will be a blight on our community. I could go on......
