Omaha leadership is irresponsible. While complaining about the high cost of housing, they will raise the cost of living in Omaha with their pet project.

I propose running a shuttle system like they do in South Padre Island Texas instead. It’s much more customizable for city events and would allow flexibility. This does not seem cost effective and with usage for a few downtown events, it doesn’t seem to really serve the citizens who live here and will pay for it.

I’m for more comprehensive public transportation and street repair/restructuring. I am against a public transportation device that serviced a small portion of our community that is already readily serviced by existing public transportation.
