I live in Douglas county. This is one of the most wastful and frankly idiotic uses of tax payer dollars.
How about we solve the homeless issues and actually fix our infrastructure first.

The public transportation we have in Omaha currently, is under utilized and we don’t need this plugging up the streets. We the people will be on the hook for this when the “economic development” doesn’t pan out to pay for the street car. TIF only works if the tax base is there to pay for it. STOP THE STREET CAR!
