Omaha has had streetcar lines in past decades and they have ALL gone out of business because of lack of profitability. NO REASON THIS FOOLISHNESS WILL BE ANY DIFFERENT AND THE TAXPAYERS LEFT HOLDING THE BAG.

As usually, Mayor Stothert puts her own donors about the taxpayers of Omaha. This needs to go away, along with our Mayor who doesn't even live in the city she "represents".

Not something I want to be taxed to pay for. This is something that would only be used by people that live and work in certain areas of Omaha. I’d have to drive to midtown or the Old Market, find(and pay for) a place to park to use the free streetcar. Why would I do that?!?!

This will negatively affect many businesses along the route. The taxes property owners and businesses will have to pay the along the route will put an undue burden on these owners and businesses. The city needs to listen to the residents of the city.

We don't have any kind of public transportation in West Omaha or the kind of public transportation that takes people from home to daycare / school / groceries. Those ought to come before yet another form of public transportation in Downtown Omaha
