Closing Farnam for three years will destroy the businesses already there that are trying to make it. If it is such a wonderful plan, then let the People vote on it. Prove it.

It is my opinion that the implementation of a streetcar is an extremely costly project that will only serve a few people. I cannot picture myself or anyone I know ever actually using it more than once, just to say they did. It seems to be a gimmick that will cost hundreds of millions and I believe those costs will be passed on to residents of Omaha who will never experience any actual benefit of having it. The focus should be placed on infrastructure and maintenance. Roads, bridges and parks. Law enforcement and education systems as well. Property, vehicle and utility costs are already high enough. I do not wish to be on the hook for something I did not get to vote for.

We do not need a streetcar that would serve a minute percentage of our population. How about the city spend more on repairing our roads? Service the entire city instead of a miniscule section.
