I think the EO jewelry with parent approval and training, and a resident aromatherapist is essential. I totally agree with the information in this article.

Essential oils give me headaches and trigger my asthma. They don't belong in schools. Only clear air belongs in schools.

Two asthma attacks requiring Benadryl and inhaler just this week because teachers diffused oils to “help” kids concentrate. Ha. Gave ME brain fog. Who knows what it’s doing to kids!
I suffer from MCS and these strong oils irritate my nasal passages to the point of feeling painfully raw and inflamed with horrible burning with each breath. Then it takes forever to clear up once I get away from it.

I love EO's but I am 100% agains public diffusion as these substances have effects on people and like food or medication, there is no "one size fits all". Children are especially sensitive and parents should be concerned.

It took several months of doctor visits, medications, and steroids to trace the source of my respiratory issues to a teacher diffusing an oil blend I was allergic to on a different floor, in a different wing of my school!

I work in a school that some teachers do this. Last year, I saw an increase in URI's, Asthma reactions, and allergies out of control. I have argued this is the cause. The same teachers are doing it again this year with the same results. I would love to see your research on this as I am using this as part of my evaluation this year.

I am allergic to garbage marketed as essential oils spewed from diffusers, yet MLM drones keep forcing it within my workplace. Which is within a medical facility. The patients and residents are forced to inhale that garbage because MLM "reps" refuse to stop selling their garbage junk "products"

As a school nurse, I support this statement 100%.

As a person who suffers from chronic migraine and MCS, essential oils create a huge accessibility barrier for others who suffer from these and other medical conditions. EOs should never be diffused in public spaces. It’s a violation of the ADA

I was one of many with adverse reactions, this was one of my symptoms including diffuser with initial asthma coughing for a few months. I was prescribed with the under of medical professionals. Please don’t use them in all classrooms

I work in a public school and have been sick several days because of working with a teacher who diffuses essential oils. Several kids have had rashes and asthma attacks as well. This is not safe for people who have health issues like myself and most who use essential oils doesn’t seem to care because they think it benefits everyone but it doesn’t
