Stop the unnecessary Uniform changes at Plume Maldons Community Academy

Why spend so much effort on uniform ideology when the academic standards are failing, the uniform is substantial and the smartest in Essex.

Totally disagreed with girls wearing ties-who wears ties these days? Totally disagree with the phasing out of year 11 polo shirts. These though I can accept. But to ask parents to pay more than double to buy a pair of trousers or skirt smacks at insensitivity at best and greed at worst. I hope that this makes the school sit up and take note.

We need to get rid of this!

Standards and tradition should take priority

Leave the uniform alone, in force the rules already made before uniform change and stick to them.

I have no problem with the uniform being changed. I do have a problem with being told that the uniform must be purchased from an online shop which is extremely overpriced.

Uniform should be affordable for all , one make does not fit every child and parents should be able to source cheaper and well fitting uniform from a supplier of their choice as long as it meets the schools colour criteria .

Keep the uniform we already have, It looks so much better.

Keep the normal skirts grey ones are horrible

Why change the colour scheme it just won't look right and I understand that the teachers r trying to stop the girl's rolling up their skirts but y change the trousers its not like we r gonna roll them into shorts!

If you want are school to look smart then why are we wearing grey FLAIR trousers with a NAVY BLUE blazer.

Colour / skirt /trouser change totally un-necessary , the girls will still roll their skirts up what ever skirts us parents are forced to purchase

It is not necessary they just want more money

It seems a pointless and expensive and inconvenient exercise.
