Stop the transfer of Nevada public lands

Keep Nevada public lands open

This is an underhanded way of handing public land over to developers as a "thank you" for their political support.

It would be a sad to take away this public land that is used by so many people. I moved here from Oklahoma and one of the biggest reason is the amount of public land, open spaces. the deserts are the last place citizens can ride for hours with out fences and gates every 40 acres. please keep this in mind.

Please do not take our land away from us. I travel to Clark County several times a year and sped my money due to the off-road races held on the land you plan to take.

As a Southern Nevada resident and Nevada business owner, I am against this lands bill. The dwindling of all access public lands is causing an effect to many business that rely on these lands for out door activities.

I have been coming to off road racing as far back 1974. This action will put an end to the sport as we know it, all to line the pockets of so very few. When you have this type of underhanded tactics by the counties officials involved one seems to think that its time to start a campaign to vote them out and get someone in that will fight for public land for the public. To those involved in this selfish action I plead with you to leave our open public lands as they are, so me, my son, my three grandsons, the rest of my family and dozens of my friends can still and will come and enjoy your desert as we have for years. You have endless sites options available without destroying a very large part of the economy of your area.

My family and many friends come to Clark County NV for off-road recreation and racing. It sure would be a inconvenient for us not to be able to enjoy the public lands as we have for many years. Please review your options for taking away public land as this is not the best option for any one including big business.

Dear Sir/Madam, Proceeding with a vote on a bill of this magnitude without giving the public adequate opportunity to comment is short sighted at best and criminal at worst. Please rectify this and allow public comment of this proposed legislation. Public lands belong to all of us, not just the currently elected officials in Clark County. Thank you for listening. Stop closing up our area's

Please keep public land public! Off-road racing is the only reason my family and I visit the Las Vegas area any more.

please save the lands for all to use. Do stoop to big business. There are plenty of areas around Las Vegas that would benefit from redevelopment without taking public lands away.

Please stop closing public lands that are used regularly by outdoor adventurists. We don't all want to live indoors in front of a TV or computer. There are plenty of other areas to develop that won't affect anyone.

Please keep our deserts our deserts so we can use them and enjoy them.

Allow us to enjoy our land

There is absolutely no reason to shut down any additional public lands in order to allow continued industrial and urban expansion. Try re-developing areas in and around the Las Vegas and surrounding areas. There are plenty of communities that could use a facelift which would/should create and encourage local employment. The recreational use of these lands sustains many of the local businesses as well as creates jobs within the recreation markets. Large sprawling warehouses only benefit a very select few. Bottom Line, STOP CLOSING OUR PUBLIC LAND!

You must follow the process and allow an appropriate period for public comment. Public lands need to stay available to the PUBLIC
