As a lifelong resident of Nevada the idea of selling off this land for development is sickening. Not only will the hundreds of thousands of people that enjoy the Jean / Primm area for OHV be displaced, but all the wild life that we as a community have worked so hard to maintain.

The Las Vegas Area is Plenty Developed adding more development will hurt the Water Supply in the Region Hurting Lake Mead & Lake Powell.. and downstream of the colorado. Adding more population to the area will add adverse negative effects to the region.. All to make money out of citizens without a thought of the future and the effect to our natural resources.. All to make money in the present.. Capitalist Developers is always aiming to Destroy America with Deep Pockets enough to convince and pay politicians of any branch needed for all there Greedy pockets. to give developers there right of way.. Let not hurt the Future of the area ! Keep it as Public Land

This proposal is ridiculous and harmful to the citizens of Clark County as well as the millions of visitors who come to our area to recreate. Not only would it adversely impact our economy by hurting one of our nation's fastest growing industry, outdoor recreation, which represents 2% of the gross domestic product, it will forever destroy the homes of many of our protected wildlife and plant life. As off road enthusiasts we are constantly aware and reminded of how careful we have to be in this area to protect and preserve the wildlife and vegetation. This proposal will complete plow down the entire area and concrete a lot of it for industrial areas and homes. Our recreation areas keep getting smaller and smaller and you are forcing people to congregate already places that were declared overcrowded and unsafe back in 2008 but still you keep reducing recreation areas. Just this week the Secretary of the Interior released a press release that more public lands were going to be open to all forms of outdoor recreation so this proposal directly conflicts with his statements. Please do not do another injustice to our community!

People do need recreational areas near las Vegas not farther away. We are getting pushed into smaller areas which causes more damage to these areas.
