Public lands belong to the PUBLIC. Set aside the fact that OHV recreation and off road Racing generate millions of dollars of tax revenue each year. These are public land that were established for use by the public. They were NOT set aside as a bank account for the federal government or BLM to use as they fit when money is needed. Enough is enough.

This has been going for generations. Why stop it now how ridiculous can you be. The offroad community is the only that takes care of the desert. Without them I guarantee you will find huge huge piles of garbage. Every year before each race the off-roading community goes out and cleans cleans every bit of garbage on the desert. You can't say that about any other event. I know the burning man party that goes every year isn't that way.

I'm sick and tired of the Government "selling or trading" OUR public lands for the use of greedy "developers, politicans, realtors, construction companies, and all the rest that see big profits in getting these lands. Also, what has become of our big "drought, water issues" ?? Have these people miracoulously found some magical, untapped souce of a new unlimited source of water to save us?? No... They just keep building. $$$$$

This is bad for families who like to wheel together and bad for the local economy that depends on races like the Mint 400. Further, off roaders have demonstrated that we can wheel responsibly and share the environment with the desert tortoise. These public lands should remain public.

Off-road racing makes Nevada unique. It’s a huge part of our culture and lives. Along with many others, the ability to utilize PUBlIC lands have shaped me into a better more productive citizen. There are more than one way to use public lands and this needs to be one.

This would be a huge hit to the people that enjoy they desert and also to the revenue that all the racers bring to the area for events.
