Seems like a land grab for developers with deeper pockets than the environmentalists or off-roaders. Sad that this could bring even less places for off-road racing in this country.

Stop taking away public land from us taxpayers who pay the wages of those in the blm. People love Nevada because of its beauty and our ability to explore using the existing trails. Keep it open.

Even fathoming the termination of the Mint 400 or any other races and off-road trails is beyond me. The amount of revenue brought in would equal if not surpass industrial revenue. Overall racing and off-roading in those areas is such a huge passion and lifestyle, that can’t be taken away.

It is nothing but a greedy takeover of public lands for government gains once again...the "public"suffers great loss at the governments hands..the very government that is supposed to be working for us,but is instead plundering our natural resources and hurting our interests at our ecpense

Please don't take our off road racing! It's very important to many of us in the community, and contributes a huge amount of revenue to our tourist town.
I'm also concerned about the water shortage in our valley. More commercial and residential building in the area will put more strain on lake Mead, which is already running low from consumption and drought.
