Please do not consider transfering land along the I-15 Primm area where the MINT 400 runs. This is the biggest race in the USA and has played a big role in my life. It can not go away because of a political move.

The mint 400 has been in existence since 1967 and brings millions of dollars in revenue to the state. This coupled with Snore races Nevada has become the off road capital. Nevada is also home to many professional off road race teams. To take away land we use for recreation for the sake of expanding development and housing
Is obsurd. This is clearly another attempt by Steve Sisolack and the county commission to take away our natural landscape and give it to the highest bidder.

Being a native Nevadan I am appalled by this backdoor legislation. If the county commission truly cared about the input of we the people, then racing organizations would have had a seat at the table when taking this into consideration. I personally hold Steve Sisolack responsible for trying to backdoor the Nevada people by taking away our land that has been used responsibly for many years . He is no friend of the off road community and by holding a vote two weeks after unveiling this to the public is a slap in the face to all .

I'm an Offroad enthusiast. I have a 4x4 vehicle and I try to explore the land around me as much as possible. I do it, my friends and family do it. We love to explore our public lands as often as possible. We are always very respectful to the land we travel in. often times we leave with more trash than we bring in. And, many of the local jeep clubs hold regular "trail clean ups" that we attend as often as possible. Closing the public's lands would greatly affect my personal life, and would critically hurt a hobby that myself and friends love very much.
